استقبلت معالي سفيرة السلام السيدة / إبتسام العوام عضو الأمانةً العامة والإدارية لشبكة الأخاء للسلام وحقوق الإنسان وممثلة منظمة . IHM , IHL الدولية في مقر إقامتها بالجمهورية اللبنانية الدكتور / خالد عمر من جمهورية اليمن الشقيقة والمعروف بمواقفه الإنسانية ودعوته للسلام والوقوف مع القضايا التي تخص حقوق الانسان في الوطن العربي

تداولا الإجتماع حول تعزيز الروابط بين الشعوب والعمل على إيجاد الحلول السلمية لمعالجة القضايا الانسانية ، وأن الحروب لا تنتج عنها سوى الفقر والجهل والبغضاء وهذه عوامل سلبية تسبب تأخير تقدم الشعوب لعقود طويلة ..

قدمت السيدة العوام نبذة عن أهداف ورسالة شبكة الأخاء للسلام وحقوق الإنسان ودورها الجاد والفعال في التقارب بين الشعوب والخطوات الكبيرة التي قطعتها خلال فترة وجيزة من تأسيسها حيث أصبحت أهم المنظمات الإقليمية والدولية التي لها شأن في القضايا الانسانية في كافة الدول .

أبدى الدكتور / خالد عمر استعداده بأن يمثل شبكة الأخاء للسلام وحقوق الإنسان ونشر أهدافها السامية في اليمن

هذا ونظرا لجهوده الكبيرة والمثمرة في نشر مباديء السلام والسعي لتحقيقه قامت معالي السفيرة العوام بتقديم شهادة تقديرية لمعاليه من الأمانةً العامة للشبكة ودرع التميز من منظمة IHL,IHM الدولية

‏Her Excellency the Ambassador of Peace, Mrs. Ibtisam Al-Awwam, member of the Secretariat General of the Brotherhood Network for Peace and Human Rights, and an organization representative. IHM, IHL International at its residence in the Republic of Lebanon, His Excellency Dr. Khalid Omar from the Republic of Yemen, known for his humanitarian position and his call for peace and standing with issues concerning human rights in the Arab world. ‏ The meeting dealt with strengthening the ties between peoples and working to find peaceful solutions to address humanitarian issues. The wars only result in poverty, ignorance and hatred, and these negative factors cause delay and progress of peoples for decades. Al-Awam provided a brief about the objectives and mission of the brotherhood network for peace and human rights And the great steps it has taken in the short period of its establishment as it has become the most important regional and international organizations that have an interest in humanitarian issues in all countries. For his part, HE Dr. Khaled Omar expressed his readiness to represent the network of brotherhood for peace and human rights and the dissemination of its lofty goals in Yemen. In view of his great and fruitful efforts in spreading the principles of peace and seeking to achieve them, Ambassador Al-Awam presented a certificate of appreciation to His Excellency from the General Secretariat of the Network and the IHL Shield of Excellence.
