قالت متحدثة باسم محكمة القدس المحلية اليوم الثلاثاء، إنه تقرر عقد الجلسة الأولى لمحاكمة رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو بتهمة الفساد في 17 مارس المقبل.
وكان المدعي العام الإسرائيلي قد لائحة الاتهام ضد نتنياهو في 28 يناير الماضي.
واتهم نتنياهو بالرشوة والاحتيال وانتهاك الثقة في ثلاث قضايا فساد ، بعد أن زُعم أنه قدم خدمات سياسية مقابل تغطية صحفية إيجابية وساعد رجال أعمال أثرياء في مقابل هدايا.
وهذه هي المرة الأولى في تاريخ إسرائيل التي يتم فيها توجيه اتهام لرئيس وزراء أثناء الخدمة.
ولم يطلب من نتنياهو الاستقالة كرئيس للوزراء عندما تم توجيه الاتهام إليه.
