وجه المبعوث الأمريكي ستيف ويتكوف، الشكر للسيد الرئيس عبدالفتاح السيسي رئيس الجمهورية، على جهوده لتحقيق السلام في غزة.
وبحسب ما نشرته فضائية «القاهرة الإخبارية»، أكد ويتكوف، خلال كلمته أمام مجلس السلام، أننا تمكنا من تشكيل مجلس السلام تحت قيادة الرئيس دونالد ترامب.
وتابع ويتكوف: «لولا ترامب لما تمكنا من إعادة المحتجزين من قطاع غزة».
